Soon: in July of this year I’ll be teaching a week-long course on writing tension with the wonderful and talented Elizabeth O’Connor!

Doing: Deep in the weeds of new novel. Have spent several weeks researching lost/local Dutch traditions and so now have become very nostalgic for things I’ve never experienced. Want to eat that Broodhaantje! Want to find the white snake (worm) under the Hazel tree with the mistletoe and gain the knowledge of Solomon! Wanna throw a hayfork at a hill and have the Witte Wieven chase me back home to assure my wife’s fertility. Hmm. Much to think about.
